Abstrakt: This article explores the topic of pneumatization in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) area. Pneumatization refers to the presence of air cells in the bone, and it can vary in extent and location. The study analyzed CBCT files of 111 patients and found that 55% of them had no pneumatization in the TMJ area. The text discusses the prevalence of different pneumatization patterns, theories on its importance and design, and its implications for various conditions. It emphasizes the need for accurate imaging techniques like CBCT to evaluate pneumatization. [Extracted from the article]
