Abstrakt: A new study from the Federal University of Sao Carlos-UFSCar explores the intersection of occupational therapy and culture. The research examines the cultural aspects of human activities in occupational therapy, the influence of culture on the historical evolution of occupational therapy, and the potential for culture to serve as a field of practice for occupational therapists. The study argues that culture should be considered in the context of individual, community, and territorial human activities, and that there is a specialized field of action related to cultural policies. The research suggests that collaboration between occupational therapy and other sectors, such as health, social assistance, and education, is possible. [Extracted from the article]
