Abstrakt: A report from the Public Health Agency of Canada examines the factors associated with parental vaccine hesitancy and refusal in Canada. The study used data from the 2017 Childhood National Immunization Coverage Survey and found that lower household income and a higher number of children in the household were associated with higher vaccine hesitancy and refusal. Conversely, non-immigrant parents had lower vaccine hesitancy. The findings of the study could inform targeted interventions to improve childhood vaccination programs. [Extracted from the article]
