Researchers at Government College University Faisalabad in Pakistan have conducted a study on piperazine therapy. Piperazine is a structural component of many clinical drugs and has attracted the attention of pharmaceutical scientists due to its promising biological profile. The researchers used an ecofriendly synthetic approach to create a novel series of piperazine derivatives and evaluated their tyrosinase inhibition, thrombolytic, and hemolytic cytotoxic activities. The study found that one of the derivatives displayed excellent tyrosinase inhibition efficacy and another showed high thrombolytic potential. The derivatives were also found to be less toxic. This research provides valuable insights into the potential therapeutic applications of piperazine-based compounds. [Extracted from the article] |
