Abstrakt: A thermistor is an electric circuit device made of ceramic material whose electric conductivity depends on the temperature. The mathematical model of this device takes the form of a system that consists of a nonlinear parabolic equation describing the temperature. In this paper, we investigate the model in the presence of a nonlocal term in the right hand side of the equation describing the evolution of the temperature. Precisely, we establish the existence of a renormalized solution to the problem (2) by using the weak convergence of a considered truncation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
