Expert analysis of the quality of reclaimed castings permits estimation of their structural reliability. Monitoring by visual, instrumental, and capillary methods permits identification of the technological deficiencies responsible for rejection and discarding of the workpiece. The introduction of electronic information systems with intermediate digital monitoring of casting production is prompted by the inconsistent appearance of casting defects. Product life cycle management (PLM) provides the basis for ensuring the quality of machine components in an import substitution strategy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
