The article considers the relevance of yield forecasting using Earth remote sensing technologies and the Vega-Science web service, analyzes the main methods for predicting crop yields, presents a modern method for predicting winter wheat yield within a specific field by the maximum value of the vegetation index, and obtains a linear regression equation for estimates of winter wheat yield, the results of winter wheat yield forecast are presented, forecast economic indicators of winter wheat production efficiency are calculated, the accuracy of winter wheat yield forecasts is substantiated.
