Nowadays the major global problem in sustainable development was restricted by call and crisis of energy. The overview over the entire plant design of a sugar plant has been analyzed that the time taken for firing the bagasse inside the boiler was too long. To reduce this bagasse dryer was designed and used to decrease the bagasse's humidity afore loading in the boiler. The flue gases liberated from the top of the boiler were sent inside the bagasse dryer. The heat released inside the bagasse dryer decreases the moisture in the bagasse which cause increase in firing rate inside the sugar plant's boiler and resulting in improved efficiency.
