Abstrakt: In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is very important for the body's immune system to work as well as possible to keep pathogens from getting in. According to what people are saying, Jamu might be one of the herbal remedies that can help people with a weak immune system. If herbal substances are prepared properly and in a clean way, they could help the healing process go faster. One of the steps in making herbal medicine is drying. Insufficient dryness could harm the vitamins already in the food. The drying machine's ideal drying mechanism is supposed to keep the quality of the herbs that have been processed. The purpose of this study is to determine the most optimal drying chamber design parameters possible. Fluid dynamics are investigated using the ANSYS-Fluent software, and both experimental and simulation-based approaches are used in this study to analyze fluid dynamics. According to the findings of the study, the use of blowers or ventilation, as well as the number and location of blowers or ventilation, can have an impact on the temperature of the drying machine chamber. The optimal room temperature for drying herbal ingredients is between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
