The article analyzes the problem of formation of military-patriotic qualities of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by means of the museum business as an important factor in the development of national culture. The purpose of the study is to highlight the place and role of museum affairs in the system of military cultural studies. The methodological basis of the research is such general scientific methods as: the method of theoretical generalizations, sociocultural, analytical, observation method. A conclusion was made regarding the advantages in historical and patriotic education of military-historical museums, which have a huge potential for education of military personnel based on examples of the exploits of the Heroes of Ukraine.
