Abstrakt: DAXU Company is a subsidiary of PDAM Sleman that carry out its independent production since February 2021. The company has 20.000 cups as an average daily production target, but in a day, on average, 200 rejects occur in the production process. These problems result in a mismatch of the desired production target. Based on the problems above, to study further related to the waste that occurs in the production process flow is carried out using a lean manufacturing approach including Value stream mapping and kaizen. The results of the research conducted using the selected method for 240 ml cups water process shows that the biggest type of waste is waiting with a percentage of 18.52%. The difference before and after the research is that there is a significant reduction in overall lead time from 196 seconds to 140 seconds and the percentage of Value-added and non-Value-added activities in the production before the recommendation is 35% and after being given a recommendation is 50% which 6% of the total activities.
