Abstrakt: Cigarette smoke exposure increases ulcerative colitis-associated colonic adenoma formation in mice. To the Editor, Sheehan et al. [[1]] concluded that e-cigarette usage was not connected with adverse outcomes among patients with Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), though they considered some adverse effects of e-cigarettes such as an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Our study reported that the thrombophilia-related factors in patients with UC and CD were linked with history of CVD and thromboembolism even at a young age [[4]]. [Extracted from the article]
