Abstrakt: Using KASP genotyping technology, allele frequencies of six single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were determined in a sample of pedigree Holstein × Black Pied cattle reared in Sverdlovsk oblast. In the analyzed cattle sample, SNP 8:g.107062990G>A of the TLR4 gene (rs8193048) showed no variation, while the rest of the SNPs were variable. Association study of cow genotypes and 305-day first lactation milk yield, as well as milk fat and protein percentage and yield, was carried out. For the CCL3 rs109686238, DGKG rs41608610, PPARGC1A rs133669403, and STAT1 rs43705173, no associations were found. It was not recommended to use these loci for marker-assisted selection in breeding programs aimed at increasing milk productivity of Holstein × Black Pied cattle reared in Sverdlovsk oblast. For SNP 27:g.36531442T>C of the GPAD4 gene (rs109913786), an association with milk fat percentage was demonstrated. This SNP can be recommended for marker-assisted selection in breeding programs for the Ural population of Holstein × Black Pied cattle. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
