Studies on the influence of IPM and non-IPM practices were evaluated on yield attributes of okra during rabi season of 2018-19. The total fruit yield was 64.35 and 57.63 kg per picking in okra grown in IPM and non-IPM plots, respectively, whereas the lowest fruit yield of 46.87 kg per picking was recorded in the control plot. The mean marketable fruit yield was 60.42 kg per picking in the IPM plot of okra which was more than that of non-IPM and control plots, which recorded 46.67 and 25.01 kg per picking, respectively. The highest benefit-cost ratio was recorded in the IPM plot with 2.11 followed by 1.23 and 0.95 in non-IPM and control plots of okra. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
