Cover: The internal passageways and holes of the turbine blades have been protected by slurry aluminizing diffusion coatings. The microstructural observations of the aluminized coating, as well as its high‐temperature oxidation behavior, have been investigated. The oxidation test at 1000 °C was performed for 50, 100 and 150 h and the Kp constant for aluminide coatings and un‐coated superalloy are successfully calculated to be 0.0034 and 0.0086 mg2cm−4h, respectively.
