Abstrakt:	The article presents the author's experience of encountering Itzpapalotl, an Aztec warrior goddess when studying the editorial praxis of Chicana editors of a Chicano student newspaper. She discusses that her editorial work at Chicana or Latina Studies has been guided by Itzpapalotl, a fertilizing force who is a caretaker of the realms that generate life, learning, and ingenuity.
