Abstrakt: NHS patients had more comorbidity, suffering from higher rates of both systemic disease such as cardiovascular disease (OR 1.37) hypertension (1.39), sleep apnoea (2.70), gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (OR 1.58), diabetes (OR 3.95) and polycystic ovary syndrome (OR 1.38) (all p<0.001).
