The Covid-19 pandemic has led to large-scale changes in the global economy, and this process has also affected the field of labor relations. The number of employees performing their work duties remotely has steadily increased from year to year, however, the Covid-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated this process. The remote mode of labor activity made it possible to more freely create a work schedule, but this created additional difficulties for interaction between individual employees. The decline in machine-building production associated with the Covid-19 pandemic has reduced the need for machine-building enterprises for labor and led to an increase in the unemployment rate. We believe that under these conditions, most employers will not be able to increase their employees ' wages, and most employees will not be able to ask their employers for a salary increase. Remote mode of work requires new approaches to the motivation of employees. In our opinion, when working remotely, it is more important to use non- material methods of stimulating labor activity. When working remotely, employees have additional free time, which they can devote to themselves, their family, as well as to improve their professional skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
