Abstrakt: Pythium aphanidermatum is reported for the first-time causing postharvest rot (cottony leak) on Cucumis anguria fruits (Cucurbitaceae). The fungus was identified based on morphological and molecular features and its pathogenicity was demonstrated. This is the first-time that this pathogen is reported on C. anguria in the world.
