The article discusses the efforts to address cervical cancer in Canada, particularly on when to conduct cervical biopsy. Other topics include the effectiveness of screening programmes and human papilloma virus (HPV) programmes in cervical cancer prevention, and the recommendations by the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care on cervical screening, Papanicolaou (Pap) smears and HPV testing. |
