Mr RS is an 84-year-old male presenting with new iron deficiency anemia in the context of colorectal cancer treated with curative hemicolectomy 2 years prior. Video capsule endoscopy revealed approximately 30 submucosal venous ectasias 5-10 mm diameter throughout his entire small intestine with no stigmata of recent bleeding, consistent with a diagnosis of blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome (Fig. [Extracted from the article] |
