The article focuses on war days when Paul Claudel moved to his castle at Brangues, a village near Morestel in France. Topics discussed include armistice agreement of the region in the "free" zone; his network of diplomats which helps to manage his affairs and his literary work while taking care of his family as much as possible; and information on his diary which evokes different aspects of his life made up of long periods in Brangues interspersed with short trips. |
