Intussusception is rare in adults. We report the first known case of adult intussusception caused by splenosis. The patient had chronic gastrointestinal bleeding and intermittent abdominal pain. The diagnosis of entero-enteric intussusception was made by CT scan. A laparoscopic-assisted small bowel resection was performed, leading to resolution of the symptoms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
