Abstrakt: The article reports that the ship Janus sailed into Sydney Harbour with two Irish priests as passengers such as Fr Philip Conolly and Fr John Joseph Therry on May 3, 1820. Topics include examines that two priests began together in Sydney and after ten months Conolly sailed to Hobart, where his initial Mass drew nine worshippers and stayed with Edward Curr, a Catholic storekeeper who would become a nabob.
