A 3‐year‐old child with congenital toxoplasmosis detected in a medical checkup.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 3-year-old child, which was incidentally diagnosed with chorioretinitis in a medical checkup, and the report highlights difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital toxoplasmosis in Japan. The article discusses that the congenital infection was suspected, but examinations at the pediatric department revealed no strabismus, lymphadenopathy or hepatosplenomegaly, and neurological examinations revealed normal findings.
