| Abstrakt: |
The effect of seed inoculation by Azotobacter chrocooccum and Azospirillum brasilense with different doses of nitrogen fertilizer on vegetative growth of the winter wheat cultivar (Audi) was studied in the field experiment of the Directorate of Diyala agriculture, Baqubah nursery during 2018- 2019. Results indicated that the combination between A. chrocooccum and A. brasilense or separately with half dosage from nitrogen fertilizer gave highest value in all of studied characteristics compared to the full dosage of nitrogen fertilizer. A. chrocooccum and A. brasilense recorded significant increments in phosphorus content in wheat 2.11,2.13 and 1.74% at first, second and third harvest respectively, nitrogen content 6.98% at first harvest, plant height 69.36, 103.13 cm, number of branches 35.33, 44.93, vegetative weight 31.19, 71.66 kg/hectare at second and third harvest respectively, total chlorophyll 29.94 µmol/m² and total vegetative weight 120.16 tons/hectare.
