The article describes the case of a 15-year-old male with a history of hypereosinophilia (HES) and immediate family history of systemic lupus erythematosus (SEL) with a fever and cough and was treated of azithromycin. Topics discussed include finding on the patient's bone marrow biopsy, clinical characteristics of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), and autoantibodies that may be present in patients with autoimmune liber diseases such as AIH and primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). |
