Abstrakt: The article presents a study which provided accurate spectroscopic parameters for the methanethiol isotopologue to facilitate its identification in the interstellar medium at millimetre and submillimetre wavelengths. Topics discussed include the use of the rho-axis method (RAM) to the analysis of methyl mercaptan and some of its isotopologues, astronomical observation, and astronomical results.
