The article is devoted to the study of the formation of industrial clusters on the territory of the Southern Federal District (SFD) of the Russian Federation, as well as the rationale for the feasibility of this management activity, taking into account the industrial-industrial complex formed in the macroregion, represented in the sectors of the agro-industrial complex, chemistry and petrochemistry, metallurgy and engineering, food industry, etc. A statistical analysis of the main indicators of the development of production in the context of ubektov County, as well as by industry and type of activity. An analytical review of the results of implementation of the cluster policy in the Southern Federal District has been carried out, and key factors for the success of this activity of government bodies in the macroregion have been highlighted. This article should be of interest to all who are interested in the socio-economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation.
