The structure of the adhesion zone between the base and cladding layers in new 10KhN3MD + 04Kh20N6G11M2AFB two-layer steel obtained using different techniques, namely, application of deposit welding followed by rolling, pack rolling, and explosive welding, is studied. It is found that, irrespective of the chosen technique of preparation, the strength of adhesion of the layers is at the level of the strength of the steel of the base layer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
