Abstrakt: The paper addresses the problem of providing suitable mathematical modeling for masonry structures reinforced through FRCM provisions. To this aim one focuses on the mathematical setup for handling such complex problem, where the non-linearity of the basic material, whose investigation requires some special analytical formulation and modeling, couples to the FRCM elements’ non-linearity, ought to the ductility exhibited by these composites, which couple the strengthening fibers with the inorganic cement-based matrix support.
