| Abstrakt: |
The present paper proposes two efficient estimators ȳGS1 and ȳGS2 based on Mohanty and Sahoo (1995) in unequal probability design under the Horvitz-Thompson method. The expressions are derived for their biases and mean square errors up to the first degree of approximation. The proposed estimators are compared with the classical ratio estimator and estimators defined by Bacanli and Kadilar (2008) in unequal probability design. The Proposed Estimators are more efficient than the classical ratio estimator and the estimators given by Bacanli and Kadilar (2008). The result has also been illustrated numerically.
