| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the works of Ghanaian poet Kwame Dawes. It cites on his works which exemplifies comparative poetics of Ghana, Africa and the Caribbean. The article also focuses on the Dawes poem "Requiem" which employs clarity in narrative as a common ancestral and historical concern of African poets. |
