| Abstrakt: | The articl ereports on a study at the Athens Lunatic Asylum regarding the treatment of women with mental illness. According to Nancy Tatarek, associate professor of anthropology, women's health issues have long been understudied. It is stated that the protocol surrounding the admittance of female patients to the asylum, from 1874 to 1879 has been examined by medical graduate Megan Cales. |
