The article offers information on the recipients of the 10th Annual R+D Awards, which honor innovative research and technology. The winners include Terreform ONE's prototype cricket shelter and farm, which experimented with food culture and ecology through architecture. Another winner is the Bay Arc tidal response barrier, a tensile net structure, designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM). The Tower at PNC Plaza in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is among other winners. |
