The article reports on a project to expand the Online Ethics Center (OEC) of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). The project intends to address ethics and social justice in science and engineering. It is increasingly important that scientists and engineers actively consider not only the practical but also the ethical questions: should it be done or who should make the decision. |
