The article presents the author's views on the strategies adopted by Brazil and Colombia for managing cooperation between them including pacification and peacekeeping missions of United Nations (UN). Various topics discussed include international participation of Brazil in 21st century, leadership in both countries, international agreements signed for managing public security and prevention of terrorism over there. It further discusses pacification process started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Colombia. |
