Abstrakt: The article presents a study reporting important advances relevant to best nursing practice. The study sought to explore the way bereaved carers view a good death and the impact that care providers may have in shaping such conceptualizations. It found that the role of care providers in shaping end-of-life experience is by no means limited to providing good medical and nursing support but extends into more social aspects of care since the input of care providers increases as death approaches.
