The article presents a case study of a 8-year-old Dachshund bitch suffering with desexing. Topics discussed include her physical examination showing slight vaginal discharge, her ovariohysterectomy surgery showing presence of foreign material, replacement of her uterus by granulation tissue, characterization of her uterine scars with necrotic inflammation, and cause of uterine rupture in bitches to be unknown. |
