According to seed production practice, the seed production techniques for Benliangyou 3113, a new two-line hybrid rice combination, were summarized. In order to obtain high and stable yielding, the seed production of Benliangyou 3113 requires appropriate site selection, rational sowing period, rational ratio between parental lines, enhanced water and fertilizer management, appropriate leaf cutting, strict weeding, good artificial pollination and good pests and diseases control.
