| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on student riots in Venice, Italy, during 1882 and 1885. Topics discussed include student riots at the Higher School of Commerce of Venice during the 1880s that were caused due to irredentist and republican demands; the execution of Italian irredentist Guglielmo Oberdan on December 20, 1882, that resulted in protests by Venetian students; and a large group of college students who expressed public solidarity in 1885. |
