The article examines the relationship between the viscosity and molecular weight of solution-polymerized styrene butadiene (RBSK) on the characteristics of vulcanisates and rubber mixes. It mentions the production of styrene butadiene rubbers through the copolymerization of the monomers. The need for the Mooney viscosity of the RBSK to be at the 50-60 nominal units is highlighted for the improvement of the properties of the vulcanisates. |
