Abstrakt: | The article discusses a study aimed at detecting a possible predictive value of the type of cardiolpegia on postoperative myocardial damage. Topics discussed include the significant differences between 2 study groups with respect to age, diabetes and duration of cross-clamp time, higher levels of CK-MB in the immediate postoperative period for CABG patients treated with blood cardioplegia and claims that only large increases in CK-MB levels were of clinical significance. |
