Abstrakt: The first all-sky maps of Energetic Neutral Atoms (ENAs) from the Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) exhibited smoothly varying, globally distributed flux and a narrow "ribbon" of enhanced ENA emissions. Since then' IBEX has completed another set of full sky maps' which show that the large-scale structure was generally stable between the first and second halves of 2009. However, these maps also indicate some very intriguing smaller scale temporal changes in the outer heliospheric emissions. This paper provides an update on the IBEX observations in general and examines their temporal variations in particular. The observed large-scale stability and the systematic changes at smaller spatial scales provide important new information about the outer heliosphere and its global interaction with the galaxy, as well as illuminating possible mechanisms for producing the IBEX ribbon.
