Abstrakt: The article discusses a study that focuses on the discovery of a ruthenium complex NAMI-A which exhibits potent and selective cytotoxic effects toward leukaemia cell lines. Topics discussed include the structure of the complex that consists of four equatorial chloride ligands, blockade of calcium activated potassium channels due to the antiproloferative effects of the complex and low probability of toxicity when taken in high doses.
