Abstrakt: We present a genome assembly from an individual male Epicampocera succincta (a tachinid fly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Tachinidae). The genome sequence is 398.1 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 21.4 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 20,733 protein coding genes.
