Abstrakt: | Persistent symptomatic coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a distinct clinical entity among patients with hematologic cancer and/or profound immunosuppression. The optimal medical management is unknown. We describe 2 patients who had symptomatic COVID-19 for almost 6 months and were successfully treated in the ambulatory setting with extended courses of nirmatrelvir-ritonavir. Competing Interests: Potential conflicts of interest. C. L. serves as an investigator for a clinical trial sponsored by Pfizer. R. D. C. has received research funding and consulting/honoraria from Pfizer. All other authors report no potential conflicts. (© The Author(s) 2023.
