Abstrakt: | Silent sinus syndrome is a rare anomaly caused due to hypoventilation in the maxillary sinus. This is mostly unilateral and asymptomatic in majority of patients. Some patients develop complications due to this such as hypoglobus and enophthalmos. The usual age of occurrence is after 30 years. We report this unique case as our patient was very young to develop this. Competing Interests: There are no conflicts of interest. (Copyright: © 2023 Oman Ophthalmic Society.) |
