Abstrakt: Staphylococcus aureus is a widely distributed, opportunistic pathogen and has been linked to the human skin disease atopic dermatitis (AD). Here, we present 44 complete and 4 draft genome sequences of S. aureus strains isolated from the nose and skin of AD patients and healthy controls from a German study cohort.
