Abstrakt: Minimally invasive valve surgery is evolving into a procedure of choice in the treatment of mitral regurgitation (MR). Visualization techniques have improved vastly over the past decades. With the use of 3D technology rib retractors can be avoided, incision size has come down to a minimum without reducing and even improving the surgeons view.
